These may look like ordinary beach rocks to you but for me they
are so much more. When I made my video last year for the annual
Blog Blast For Peace, I made a peace sign with some beach rocks and
my wonderful e-friend Ferd dubbed them "Peace Rocks".

And of course the name stuck in my head and nowI no longer see the ordinary, but rather the
extraordinary simplicity of these smooth round stones
which have become symbols of peace in my mind.
It's a matter of perception.
When I think about peace, especially in terms ofworld peace, it can often feel like an insurmountable
task and I have to remind myself that many hands
make light work and together we can raise our
voices and bring about real change.
Peace rocks... it really does!
