In a hospital for which I am very grateful. My sister was born in an elevator.

In an apartment.

I come from a long line of Newfies... and they came from long lines of Irish, English and French.

I've been known to occasionally blow off steam... but I 'm not sure I ever smoked.

1. Tell us about your superstitions. Do you have any? Do you "x out" black cats on the windshield of your car, avoid cracks in the sidewalk or practice other rituals that make you feel safer?
Don't have any? Come on now! Make up some....

I'm not superstitious. No way. And if I've knocked on wood a few times it's only because I'm a little OCD ;)

2. Has anything paranormal ever happened to you that you can write about?

Yes & No. Yes it was definitely paranormal... but No I cannot write about it. No one would believe me!

3. Have you ever had a near-death experience? Care to share?

Uhhhh nooo - and I'd like to keep it that way.

4. Pheromones...aka "love fireworks" (I think I remember those)...are a force to be reckoned with. Do you believe that two people can have an uncontrollable chemical reaction to each other? How do you know this to be true?






Ahhh yes... The Scent of Eros. Happens all the time... On Animal Planet!!!

Researchers have found no definitive proof that human pheromones exist although some of the studies have been suggestive.

Where I come from - we just call it lust.

No I don't believe in spells but if I did, I'd definitely have a list of possible candidates!

Extra Sensual Pheremones.
C'mon... you knew I couldn't pass that up!







7. Do you ever hear strange noises in your house?
If so, what do they sound like?





Oh yeah. Sometimes it sounds like a creaky old rocking chair... and other times like someone swinging from a rope. It's a little creeeeepy!






8. Tell us about a time you "knew" something was going to happened before it did. Are you one of those intuitive types or do you know someone who is ? Do tell.

Mostly it's just small things... like thinking about someone I haven't heard from in awhile and then they call. Awhile back I quoted from Field of Dreams and when I turned on the TV, the movie was playing. Just weird stuff like that.

9. I'm a tad gifted in the dream department. Really. Sometimes my dreams are prophetic and come true. It can be a blessing and a curse. Has this ever happened to you? If not, would you like to have this gift? (Be careful what you wish for. It can be freaky at times.)



My dreams are wild, vivid, real and sometimes wacky. If one of them actually came true I'd never close my eyes again. Seriously, I am totally delighted that my dreams are just a reflection of my crazy imagination. Prophetic would not sit well with me.

Your hair? Indecisive and needy.

Your mother? My Mom was a traditional Newfoundland woman who baked her own bread, made her own jams and pickles, knit sweaters, mittens and socks, crocheted afghans, doilies and numerous other items as well as giving birth to and raising eight children. In other words she could pretty much do anything!

Your father? My Dad was hard working man of physical labour all of his life. From lumber camps to construction he was a veritable jack-of-all-trades.

Your favorite food? Too many to list but I rarely turn down pasta.

Your dream last night? PASS.

Your favorite drink? My morning coffee :)

Your dream/goal? To bore you to death with my meme.

The room are you in? It has 4 green walls, 3 entrances, a floor and a ceiling.

Your hobby? Answering meme's although one day I hope to make a career out of it.

Your fear? Which one? Insects? Heights? Drowning? Death? Oh the possibilities!

Your TV? A top of the line Samsung PN58B860 58-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV... well actually... that's what it said it wants to be when it grows up!

Your Pets? A 15 year old part husky / part shepherd and one 8 month old obnoxious kitten that I inherited from my daughter.

Friends? They are able to put up with me... so I guess that sums it up.

Your life? Describe my life? You want me to describe my life? Bwaaaaaahhh!

Your best friend? Loyal, compassionate and trustworthy.

Where did you grow up? I was raised in Ontario until I was 11 and then brought to Newfoundland where I was assimilated into Newfie culture. Resistance was futile.

Does my inner world count? 'Cause I seem to spend an awful lot of time in there...

3. Who is the most peace-loving person you know? What makes them so?

That would be my sister Faith. She has a natural gift for compassion and empathy and is known in our family as "The Peacemaker".

4. What do you do when your inner peace is threatened?
Do you have a strategy, a routine, religious faith, a mantra......to calm yourself down?

I call my sisters. They listen to my meltdown and when I'm done... they try and talk some sense into me. Not exactly a strategy is it?

5. What is your favorite comfort food?

I don't eat for comfort. My stomach puts up a "closed for business" sign when I am upset!

6. Do you have a pet that brings you happiness and peace? If not, what type of animals bring you peaceful thoughts?

Having pets has always brought a lot of laughter and joy to my life. I highly recommend them!
