Exhausted yes... but alive and kicking.
My sisters and I have just had the most fantastic experience of our lives... nothing can compare to this.
The guides had a great time messing with our heads. Pretending to drop my sister Glenda's camera into the gorge and psyching my sister Faith out by letting her think she wasn't properly hooked up. They were a great bunch... fun and yet professional at the same time.
I admit that I almost wimped out. I was totally terrified for the first two Zips. And yes, they practically had to push me off... but if you take the time to watch the full video you will see that by the end of it that I was not only zipping... but flying!

I knew I smelled something foul coming back close to the dungeon. Hmmmph...WOOT...what a wonderful video. And the sights and scenery. That waterfall was just beautiful. I bet you were squeezing ass all the way across. Okay I'm going to go out on a limb here but I gotta ask...does it go back and forth? Cuz it looked like you were going down the first time so I was wondering if you had to drive or walk back to the other side or if the zip goes back the other way so you can get back to where you started from? Congrats to you and your sisters. What a fantastic trip. Aloha :)
Sandee I was terrified at first... but each zip got easier and it was the best fun! Big Hug!
Thom we went by truck to the top of the mountain. There were 6 zip lines in total and yes they sort of zig zag down the gorge. By the time you're done (2 hours later) you only have a short walk back to where you parked your car!

You are amazing! I would SO want to do that, but I might chicken out if I actually got there. Did you get the same feeling as if you were riding a roller coaster? I LOVE the video too, so well done, Dawn...great!!! :)

What was I thinking? I wasn't. My brain shut down for the first two zips... I barely remember it.
But then suddenly I was having the time of my life! Definitely memories for a lifetime :)
Dawn: I was wondering about the multiple "zips" - WHY?
The scenery was gorgeous and made the whole thing more scary. The guides were kinda cute tho (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean?)
Grace - the zips start at the top of the mountain where we were taken by truck. They gradually move down the gorge. There are six in total and by the time you are done you can walk back to the parking lot.
And yes I know what you mean ;) nudge!
