I'm melting...

I'm not sure if you can die from humidity... but I think I'm melting.
As Hurricane Bill approaches, the air has become so thick and heavy that I'm finding it difficult to breathe.

The skies are dark and brooding...
and all I can think is...
Bring it on Bill...
before I end up in a puddle on the floor.

LOL - oh I know what you mean. When we moved from New Brunswick to Ontario I couldn't believe the humidity! But just before a huge storm it's way worse. Stay safe! And cool!

Ummm...this is not funny. That satellite picture looks scarier than being in the dungeon with Thom. Maybe you should go back down there before you get hurt out in the big bad world of hurricanes.

It is sticky hot here too because Bill passed through and left us a doosy of a humid heat.

Do you have food and a flashlight?

My that does look like a nasty little storm. Gee whiz I hope you will be okay.

Walter was in New Foundland a couple of months ago and loved the entire experience.

I absolutely can't believe we lived in Maine for 10 years and never visited.

I was sick yesterday and slept late today so I have not heard the latest about Bill.

Take care and keep us updated!

I thought of you when I saw the weather report today - hope you will be safe.

For the past 13 years I have been living in various, hot and humid places that also have snow and cold - Philadelphia is damp because it is in a valley surrounded by rivers. We have had the a/c on steady for going on 3 weeks, not so much for the heat, as for the humidity. The heat index was over 100 for the last few days of last week...it ain't the heat it's the humidity is trite but true.

clearly i have no idea where you live (i am new in these parts!) but if you live in the maritimes i hope you are doing alright. I live in alberta, but have family there that i am worried for, given the reports on wild bill.

keep safe.

This is a great site that you have here. I have a blog myself where anyone can freely express their opinion on controversial topics. After looking at your site, I know that you have some valuable insight that you can share with us.

Keep up the good work. Maybe we can do a link exchange.

Sincerely,
Jason

Thanks everyone! The storm arrived as a category 1 but quickly lost speed as it passed over the island.
It was windy and rainy but all in all it could have been worse.

That is some scarey weather you are experiencing. Dawn, don't melt away. Put a cold wash rag on your neck. LOL!
