Interesting stuff...
Cat nip is like marijuana to cats but without the harmful side effects. But when the high wears off it can take up to two hours for the cat to "reset" after which it can come back to the catnip and have the same response as before.
Ahhh.... the life of a cat ;-)

What beautiful kitties. Oddly my cats don't care about catnip. But then my cats are odd - Frankie is in the basement, which is completely open to the first floor, and is crying and yelling and moaning because she is down there all alone. I actually went downstairs to see if she was all right. My husband works in the basement and she stays down there with him. When she notices he has left, she starts with the bitching and moaning - finally she just came up - what a dim bulb!
Let's go get stoned. Bwahahahahaha. Okay it was interesting, but what I got is everything and everybody seems to want to get stoned.

You've got to love cats...lol! I don't have cats now, only dogs, but my cat Howie was basically adopted by my dad when he was a kitten. (They adopted each other. lol) Anyway, my dad loves to get out the catnip when guests are over because Howie flips out...it's really funny!
Welll then let's all take every cat we can get find, get 'em stoned and watch 'em all recover at one time. That way we will have a couple of hours of freedom from those beastly animals that don't do anything you ask them to do....pffft...what a waste. Loved the video :)

My cat was a catnip junkie. It was fun to watch the effects it had on him. lol
Grace - apparently some cats are not affected by the plant. Miiko never cared one way or the other.

Thom Thom Thom... when will you learn? Cats are not useless. The problem is you! You just cannot understand the concept of independence... cats have a mind of their own. Therefore they are smarter than dogs who obey orders.
Now don't get me wrong... I love dogs too but cats are not only funny but quite capable of taking care of themselves.

Simon doesn't really care for it either...Maybe it's because the cat nip in the stores is not as strong....Hmmm ...laughing...
It looks to me like you have to buy the good cat nip off the streets...and they looked like a crowd neither I or Simon could tackle...(Smile)
All kidding aside, that was an interesting video. I've always wondered what the big deal was because Simon could take it or leave it.
